Personal Statement
I am experienced clinical academic and educator with over 10 years of experience at the University of Liverpool. A Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and recipient of the Sir Alastair Pilkington Award for Teaching Excellence, I have held key roles in both the School of Dentistry and the School of Medicine. My expertise spans curriculum design, simulation-based education, student wellbeing, and academic leadership. I have pioneered innovative teaching methods, including the use of Lego Serious Play, and has led multiple initiatives to enhance student support and engagement. I am actively involved in educational research and continue to contribute to the development of future healthcare professionals through my dynamic, student-centered approach.
