Personal Statement
My main area of research is historical English syntax and semantics. I have written a monograph on the history of English adjective comparison (Benjamins 2008) and
I have worked working on the diachrony of the English NP. I am also interested in (socio) historical stylistics and educational linguistics.
I would be willing to supervise dissertations on historical syntax, semantics, stylistics, socio-linguistics — or any related areas which may look appealing and challenging!

My consultation hours (semester 1, academic year 2022-23) are:
