Personal Statement
Sandra Walklate joined Liverpool University in January 2006 having held previous appointments at Manchester Metropolitan, Keele, Salford and Liverpool Polytechnic where she began her career in January 1975. Throughout her career she has maintained an interest in criminal victimisation with especial focus on violence(s) against women and the interconnections between the experiences of such violence(s) and the capacity for appropriate policy responses.
