Personal Statement
I joined the Institute of Infection and Global Health in Oct 2013 from the University of Amsterdam where I had been Assistant / Associate professor from 1997. My postdoctoral reserach was undertaken at the Aaron Diamond AIDS Research Center, Rockefeller Univeristy, New York City. My PhD studies were performed in the Biochemistry Department, Imperial College, University of London and the Parasitology Department University of Leiden in the Netherlands.
