Personal Statement
I got my DVM in 1984 in Huazhong Agricultural University in China. After finished my PhD in Leeds University in UK in 1988, I came to the School of Biological Scineces in Liverpool University to work as a postdoctoral research fellow. In 1994, I got a lectureship in the Department of Pathology, Faculty of Medcine, Liverpool University. I was promoted to a senior lecturer in 2000, a Reader in 2003, and to a Professorship in 2005. Since 1994, our work has been focused on the studies of molecular pathology of human prostate cancer.
