Personal Statement
I joined the University in 2016 following periods in postdoctoral and policy-related roles. I joined the HLS Research and Impact Directorate in April 2019, spending two years supporting the development of the Faculty's Impact Case Study return for REF2021, before moving into a secondment cover post for Dr Rob Ashworth.

In my role as Research Strategy, Planning and Performance Officer, I have a focus on research impact, with involvement in convening and supporting the Faculty Impact Group and the 'Impact Matters' seminar series, alongside a range of related responsibilities, namely:
- oversight for the MRC CiC/IAA fund
- oversight for the BBSRC IAA fund (since April 2022)
- oversight of the Policy Support and Participatory Research Funds
- Secretary for the HLS Translational Research Operations Group
- support for the HLS Industry Liaison Board
- coordinator of the HLS Project Managers Network
- monitoring of HLS entries to the Elements Impact Module/ in-Faculty contact point

I am available for discussion with HLS academics of their existing or potential research impact, whether with a view to a REF Impact Case study or otherwise.
