ABOUT

Personal Statement
Since graduating from Liverpool in 1994, I have had extensive experience predominately within the physical medicine setting. I spent a large proportion of my clinical experience at The Walton Centre for Neurology and Neurosurgery, working within acute neurology, neurological rehabilitation and pain management. In my role as Clinical Specialist OT in multiple sclerosis, I developed a specific interest in health education/health promotion and fatigue management.
I joined the university teaching staff in September 2009, I have maintained my commitment to the development of services and care for people with MS through my involvement with the MS Trust and my role as chair of TIMS (a national group to support the education and development of therapists specialising in MS care).
