I am The Equine Clinical Department manager and I am responsible for ensuring efficient organisation of the hospital and the provision of professional service staff to facilitate a high standard of inpatient care and organisation. I employ strategies for the professional service staff such as the admin team, nurse and yard team to maximise support for the clinical teams and academic staff. As much as possible I try to ensure the welfare of the staff and inpatients and I try to promote a positive and happy workforce who are supported and developed within their roles, thus enabling them to provide an excellent service to the inpatients, students and other team members.
