Personal Statement
As a member of the Faculty of Science and Engineering Research and Impact Professional Services team, I lead the development and delivery of activities in three key areas for the Faculty: (1) Research Environment; (2) Research Impact & (3) the Research Excellence Framework (REF). I work in partnership with the Faculty’s strategic academic leads to drive improvement in effectiveness, efficiency and inclusivity across the portfolio of activities.

I joined the university in 2019 as an Impact Co-ordinator and was responsible for overseeing the faculties REF 2021 impact submission. I have experience supporting collaborative research projects with SMEs with a focus on knowledge exchange and liaison between academia and industry. I have a PhD and post-doc experience in Environmental Science with industry.
