Personal Statement
Stephen Kearns is a teacher on Go Higher the University of Liverpool's access diploma in the Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. He has also been teaching on the Continuing Education programme at the University of Liverpool since 2009 delivering public lectures on bioethics, robot ethics and environmental ethics.

Stephen is currently a PhD candidate in the philosophy department researching the moral status of synthetic organisms within an autopoietic framework.
