Personal Statement
Ming Li (Lily) is a senior lecturer in International Human Resource Management. Her research is in the areas of cross-cultural management, international HRM, global leadership, Chinese management, and application of research methods. She serves on the editorial review board of Academy of Management Learning & Education and Journal of Management. Previously she was a co-editor of Advances in Global Leadership. She has taught undergraduate, master, MBA and executive education programs in countries such as the UK, Ireland, China, France, Singapore, Japan and Sri Lanka. When she was a senior consultant in China, she supported multinational companies to select and develop their international managers.

 

Research Overview
The focus of my research has been on the competencies of global managers in managing cultural challenges in different business environments. My broad research interests include international management, leadership, and application of research methodologies.
