Personal Statement
I have been working in the field of English Language Teaching since 1999 and have taught in language schools and universities in Russia, the UK, Libya and China. My roles have also included teacher training and education management as Course Director for Trinity Cert TESOL, Director of Studies, and External Examiner for BA TESOL courses. I started work at the University of Liverpool in 2017 and have oversight for all of the English Language Centre's Pre-sessional English courses and assessments. I am especially interested in understanding the extent to which our courses have an impact on student outcomes. Outside work, I am a keen cyclist, parkrunner, linguist, traveller and dragon boat paddler.
