Personal Statement
Minjoo joined the Management School's Accounting and Finance group in September 2018. He previously held a position at the University of Glasgow. He holds a PhD in Finance from the University of Leeds as well as a BA and MA from Sungkyunkwan University. His research is dedicated to understanding financial data and suggesting solutions for various empirical financial markets and corporate finance issues.

Minjoo's research has been published in leading finance journals such as the Journal of Corporate Finance, the Journal of Money, Credit and Banking, and the Journal of Banking and Finance. He has also received an outstanding reviewer award from the Journal of Banking of Finance for his referee services.
