Personal Statement
 Iona graduated from Liverpool University in 2016 and spent two years in mixed and then equine practice before completing an internship at the Philip Leverhulme Equine Hospital. She joined the Leahurst Equine Practice team in April 2021. Iona has a Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice, and enjoys all aspects of equine veterinary work, from routine vaccinations to more complex lameness cases and everything in between! Outside of work she can be found out and about with her family and pack of dogs (Inca, Gatsby and Dali) or riding her ex-police horse Violet.
