Personal Statement
I am a Clinical Research Associate in the Department of Clinical Infection, Microbiology and Immunology, and have been recently appointed as a Consultant in the Tropical and Infectious Diseases Unit at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital. I have worked in Brazil, India and Malawi, including clinically in India and Malawi, and as a Consultant to WHO.

Research Overview
I conduct interventional, epidemiological and clinical research, and evidence synthesis, aiming to improve the care of emerging, neurological and other infectious diseases of global importance.
