Personal Statement
Jasmine Warren is a Lecturer in Health Psychology in the Department of Psychology, at The University of Liverpool. She has expertise in reproductive psychology. Her primary research interests concern menstrual cycle experiences, education and literacy. She has published on topics including behavioural shifts over the menstrual cycle including alcohol use and impulsivity using quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methodologies. Recently, her researched has focussed on the experiences of those with menstrual cycle related disorders e.g., PCOS. Research Gate

Research Overview
I am interested in health psychology, specifically the menstrual cycle and related health conditions, as well as the menstrual transitions: menarche and menopause. I am interested in how these conditions impact individual health, behaviour, and relationships. My PhD research investigated the relationship between the menstrual cycle, alcohol use, and other factors. From this, I am also now interested in menstrual literacy and education for children.
