Personal Statement
I trained as a Chartered Accountant in the Audit and Assurance department of RSM (formerly Baker Tilly) and then worked in industry as a financial planning analyst at Electricity North West.

I started my career in financial training with Kaplan FInanacial where I worked for 9 years teaching the ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA and AAT exams over a wide range of subjects. For three years of this I was the Liverpool centre manager so in addition to teaching oversaw the day to day running of the Liverpool centre with a strong focus on business development and local account management.

I joined Liverpool University in 2019 where my subject specialisms are Financial Reporting, Audit, Business Strategy and Management Accouting.
