Personal Statement
I am a Philosopher of Science and Social Science, with special interest in Health Policy Sciences. I am mostly interested in cases of policy responses to infectious diseases in African countries (HIV/AIDS in South Africa and Ebola in West Africa). I work on issues of expert advice and distrust.

Increasingly, I am also interested in Scarce Specimen Sciences, especially the work of scientists handling scarce specimens in Astrobiology.
