Personal Statement
I work on the Flavour Physics experiment LHCb at CERN.

I am also involved in the High Energy Physics Software Foundation (HSF) in the following:
- I am the chair of the Steering Group.
- I created the HSF PyHEP working group ("Python in HEP")
- I initiated and chaired the organisation of the series of PyHEP workshops from the beginning in 2018 till 2024.

I am the co-founder of the Scikit-HEP project, a community-driven and community-oriented project with the aim of providing Particle Physics at large with a Big Data ecosystem for data analysis in Python.

I was involved in the UK SWIFT-HEP project on SoftWare and InFrastructure Technology for High Energy Physics, co-convening the Analysis Systems work package.

Research Overview
I work on experimental Particle Physics and conduct my research with the Flavour Physics experiment LHCb. I work mainly on so-called hadronic decays.

I am involved in several community projects in the area of computing and software, namely the High Energy Physics Software Foundation (HSF) and the Scikit-HEP project.
I was also involved in the UK SWIFT-HEP project on SoftWare and InFrastructure Technology for High Energy Physics.
