Personal Statement
My research is focused on challenges to human and animal health in changing environments. I use One Health approaches to understand disease dynamics and evaluate interventions to reduce disease burden.

Research Overview
In my current research on the ecology of Lyme disease I combine field, lab and modelling approaches to understand the effects of host community composition, invasive species and landscape change on disease risk. Other areas of interest are investigating zoonotic reservoirs of Clostridium difficile, particularly the potential role of companion animals as a source of infection for humans.
