Personal Statement
Yavuz is an economist with research interests in macro-finance, monetary economics, housing and mortgage markets, financial stability and asset pricing. Before joining Liverpool, Yavuz held positions at the Central Bank of Turkey and Bank for International Settlements. Yavuz’s research has been published in leading academic journals such as International Economic Review, Journal of Money Credit and Banking, Oxford Economic Papers, and Journal of International Money and Finance. He holds a PhD from the University of Rochester.
