Personal Statement
I am a qualified dental nurse with 3 years' experience, predominantly working in settings facing socio-economic challenges. I have a background in the financial sector and hold both a BA and an MA from the Manchester Metropolitan University.
My main areas of interest are reducing inequalities in oral healthcare and working with anxious patients to assist them in attending routine dental appointments.
I am a Junior Research Dental Nurse on an NIHR funded project entitled 'reducing inequalities in the uptake of regular dental care'. This project has high scale public engagement and I will be responsible for assisting dental teams on site as well as recruiting patients to the project.
