Personal Statement
Serena Chee was appointed as Senior Clinical Lecturer in Respiratory Medicine at the University of Liverpool and Consultant Respiratory Physician at the Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital in 2021.

She completed her PhD, “Evaluating the effect of immune cells on the outcome of patients with mesothelioma” at the University of Southampton funded by the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation. Her major academic interest lies in the immune response to Mesothelioma and Lung Cancer.
