Research Overview
My research focuses on the period of the early British Gothic from 1764 - 1833. I look at the intersections between theology and literature in the Gothic including theo-politics, theo-aesthetics and the theologies of the supernatural. I also conduct research into the modern Gothic romance and Queer romance.
