Personal Statement
My role is to support the strategic development of all aspects of Public Engagement with Research, ensuring a culture and environment to encourage and enable.
PE covers all the ways we collaborate, consult or connect with public groups and society to advance research and generate impact, at all stages of the research lifecycle.
I have experience designing public engagement with research projects, participatory research, evaluation design and impact planning, event management, science communication and outreach, and collaborating with schools and youth groups.
I am happy to act a point of information and advice regarding all aspects including funding, opportunities, partners and audiences, impact planning and evaluation.
I coordinate an internal forum for all professional services staff with responsibilities for public engagement and outreach.
