ABOUT

Personal Statement
Vet | Parasitologist | Honorary Research Associate

I completed my PhD on the population genetics of liver fluke in 2016, and then went on to work on postdoctoral projects. The first was a BBSRC Industrial Partnership Award concentrating on liver fluke control, and the second was a BBSRC project to explore the genetic basis of triclabendazole resistance in liver fluke. Subsequently I was awarded a Veterinary Postdoctoral Fellowship to explore how the snail intermediate host responds to liver fluke infection using 'omics technologies.
