ABOUT

Personal Statement
Professor Tsan-Ming CHOI (Jason) is an operational researcher and systems engineer. He is now Chair in Operations and Supply Chain Management, and Director of the Centre for Supply Chain Research at University of Liverpool Management School (ULMS). He has published extensively in leading journals in the fields of operations management, engineering management, and logistics and supply chain management. His recent research has been funded by many external funding bodies. Over the past decade, he has served the academic community as an editor/senior editor of journals such as IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, IEEE Transactions on SMC-Systems, and Production and Operations Management. He is also the advisory editor (past EIC) of Transportation Research Part E.

 

Research Overview
RESEARCH INTERESTS:
- OSCM with disruptive technologies: AI, blockchain, platforms, robots, cyber-security, and Industry 5.0.
- Sustainable and ethical operations: Returns, trade-in, CSR and CLSCs.
- Supply chain coordination: Contracting, information, and risk.
