Personal Statement
I joined the DClinPsy Team in June 2022 as CBT Pathway Lead and Senior University Clinical Teacher. My professional background and training (following my undergraduate Psychology degree) was in Occupational Therapy, completing my MSc in 2005-2007 and working as a qualified Occupational Therapist in the NHS from 2007-2009. I subsequently trained in CBT 2009-2010 and practised as a qualified CBT therapist in the NHS until 2022, obtaining BABCP accreditation in 2021.
I am excited by my current role, which involves establishing an accredited BABCP Level 2 Pathway within the DClinPsy programme at Liverpool, and leading on CBT teaching, assignments and placements.
