ABOUT
Personal Statement
Giuseppe is an applied microeconomist with research interest in political economy, public economics, organised crime and applied microeconomic theory. He is a Full Professor at the University of Liverpool Management School and coordinator of the Applied Microeoconomics area of expertise. He has been awarded the PhD in Economics from the Université catholique de Louvain and from the Università Federico II, Napoli. Before joining Liverpool, Giuseppe held the positions of Lecturer at the University of Pavia, Senior Lecturer at the University of Strathclyde, and Professor of Economics at the University of Leicester. Giuseppe’s research has been published in top economics journals such as Quarterly Journal of Economics, Review of Economics Studies, American Economic Journal: Economic Policy. In 2020 Giuseppe has been awarded a mid-career fellowship from the British Academy.
