Personal Statement
Callum is currently working as a Doctoral Academic Teacher at the University of Liverpool. He joined the HARC team in September 2023 as a graduate intern on the Rankin-Gee Scholarship programme and since moved on to the position of Doctoral Academic Teacher alongside starting his PhD Project in October 2024. Prior to his position at the HARC, he graduated from the University of Liverpool with a BSc in Anatomy and Human Biology followed by a PGDip in Forensic Anthropology at Liverpool John Moore's University. During his time with us he has achieved a PGCert in Clinical Anatomy with Education and Associate Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy.
Callum is responsible for delivering bespoke anatomical demonstrations to students from a wide range of degree programmes including Medicine, Dentistry, Life Sciences and Health Sciences.
Research Overview
Alongside his teaching obligations in the HARC, Callum is undertaking a PhD Project investigating the morphological features in connective structures associated with the axial musculature in a variety of species of fish. He is conducting this project under supervision of Dr Ariel Camp as a PhD student affiliated with the Evolutionary Morphology and Biomechanics group at the University of Liverpool.
