Personal Statement
Simon is a registered mental health nurse with a clinical background in children and young people's mental health services (CYPMHS). He joined the University of Liverpool in 2022 to teach on the Pre-Registration Post-Graduate Mental Health Nursing Master's Degree Programme.

Research Overview
Simon has conducted research in children and young people's mental health services and in general children's healthcare services. His PhD focussed on children and young people's experiences of being physically restrained in inpatient mental health services.
