Personal Statement
I studied geography, applied science and health and social in college. I wanted to pursue my career in animal care/ nursing which is why I joined Leahurst as an Equine technician/Animal Care Assistant. In this role I work along side both the nursing team and the yard team. With the nurses I am cleaning treatment areas, replenishing stock, sterilising equipment and generally assisting the nurses with daily tasks. Outside with the yard team I clean infectious and non infectious stables, groom horses and assist with tiding the yard.
