Personal Statement
I am a Lecturer in Economics at the University of Liverpool Management School. Before joining the University of Liverpool in 2023, I worked at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur from 2021-2023. I completed my PhD from University of British Columbia in 2021. My research interests are in the field of Macroeconomics with special focus in areas of labour and international macroeconomics.

Research Overview
I am a macroeconomist with a special focus on household finance, labour, and international economics. Methodologically, my research combines rigorous empirical analysis with quantitative macroeconomic models informed by micro-data. I use these models to identify key economic mechanisms and assess the impact of policy interventions through counterfactual analysis.
