ABOUT

Personal Statement
I graduated with a Doctor of Medicine from West Visayas State University in the Philippines, having previously earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.

Upon moving to the UK, I completed my internal medicine training across several hospitals in the Merseyside region. I am currently a Clinical Oncology Registrar at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre.

In parallel with my clinical work, I have developed a strong interest in medical education. I hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education from Hull York Medical School. I previously served as an Associate Clinical Teacher and later as a Clinical Education Fellow at University of Liverpool School of Medicine, where I supported undergraduate medical teaching and curriculum delivery.

My career reflects a commitment to both high-quality patient care and medical education. In my oncology role I deliver daily clinical care to cancer patients; as an educator, I support medical students, helping to shape the next generation of doctors.

I bring to my work a broad foundation in biological science, general internal medicine, and oncology combined with a strong interest in teaching, mentoring, and curriculum development. I am also committed to lifelong learning and keen to contribute to both clinical and educational excellence at the University.
