Personal Statement
I received a PhD in Engineering from Cardiff University, United Kingdom, in 2024, and a Master’s degree in Computing Technology with Mención Honorífica from Instituto Politécnico Nacional, Mexico, in 2018. My PhD studies focused on robotics and artificial intelligence.

I am currently employed as a Research Associate at the University of Liverpool, where I specialise in robotic systems, AI-driven automation, designing, building and carrying out mechatronics integration for chemistry automation.

Before joining Cardiff University as a Robotics Systems Engineer in 2021, I worked as a Robotics & Automation Engineer in the metal mechanics sector, starting in 2012. I was also involved in several independent automation and robotics projects.

More recently, in 2019, I joined Telcel, the leading IT company in Mexico, as a Software Developer, a position I held until beginning my PhD studies in 2020. My current research interests include robotics and artificial intelligence.
