Personal Statement
I joined the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology programme at the University in January 2024 as a Senior University Clinical Teacher.

Before joining the programme I worked as a Consultant Clinical Psychologist as part of a large Clinical Health Psychology service in a local NHS Trust.

l qualified as a Clinical Psychologist in 2005 from the University of Liverpool. My particular areas of clinical expertise lie in medical psychology and long term physical health conditions (adults)

My research interests centre on the psychological impact of physical health conditions, particularly gastrointestinal diagnoses, and the psychology of sport and exercise
