Personal Statement
I am a registered nurse (adult) with extensive experience in renal nursing.

I am an experienced academic, having practised in higher education institutes since 2004. My experience spans four universities. I have led or supported the leadership of a range of pre and post registration education programmes.

 

Research Overview
My research interests link to the professional development of the registered nurse. My interests are linked to the research investigations outlined below.

October 2022. Exploring the impact of university educational programmes on the renal nurse’s practice. A work-based project undertaken in part fulfilment of an Educational Doctorate (EdD).

July 2012. Exploring the caring experiences of the renal nurse practising in dialysis settings. A dissertation submitted in part fulfilment of an MSc Management of Long-Term Conditions.
