ABOUT
Personal Statement
I joined the University of Liverpool Management School in 2024 as a lecturer within the Work, Organisation and Management group. Prior to joining ULMS, I lectured in Organisational Behaviour and HRM at Sheffield Hallam University.
Previously I worked at Lancaster University as a Senior Research Associate on a Horizon 2020 research project: MobileAge, with an aim to develop (drawing on open data) digital mobile apps that could help older adults access public services in an easier and personalised manner. The mobile app that was developed not only helped older adults access public services in an easier way, but more importantly it helped them reconnect with their communities and reduce feelings of loneliness and social isolation, an issue that came up through the fieldwork I carried out.
Research Overview
My research interests include understanding issues and challenges around organisation of work. My research has been informed by my interests in Archival Research Methods using a postcolonial lens. I am also keen on understanding organisation of work from perspectives of gender and race. Separately, social dimensions of technology and information systems interest me.
