ABOUT

Personal Statement
My research aims at understanding how anthropogenic activities influence greenhouse gas (GHG) flux dynamics in aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems. In particular, I have examined the effects of forest harvest, drying, and damming on CO2, CH4, and N2O fluxes. My current work examines GHG emissions from drainage ditches and irrigation canals, to help inform GHG reporting guidelines for the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. I conduct field-based research as well as laboratory experiments and literature compilations.
