Personal Statement
Thomas Yoon is a Lecturer in Strategy at the University of Liverpool, UK.

His research focuses on the innovation-driven firms and their human capital strategies regarding knowledge specialization, integration, and resource redeployment. Thomas was awarded his PhD in Business Administration and Management from Bocconi University.

Prior to moving into academia, Thomas worked as a data scientist and a product engineer in Tokyo, Seoul, and Kuala Lumpur.

Research Overview
Thomas Yoon is broadly interested in the field of strategic human capital, technology and innovation management, and corporate strategy. His research also utilizes various empirical methods such as instrumental variables, matching methodologies, panel data analysis, survey data analysis, natural language processing, and large data analysis.
