Personal Statement
Shadi's primary research interest is in labor economics, specifically focusing on marriage, migration, and ethnicity. She studies the integration of ethnic minorities and the role of marriage and family in shaping this process.

Before joining the University of Liverpool, Shadi completed her PhD in Economics at the London School of Economics. She also holds an MSc in Economics and a BSc in Physics from Sharif University of Technology.
