Personal Statement
Dr Suzanne Cutler is a Senior Lecturer in Pharmacy Education at the University of Liverpool with extensive experience in pharmacy education, clinical practice, and workforce development. She holds a PhD in Pharmacy Practice and has over 16 years experience of teaching undergraduate and postgraduate pharmacy students. Suzanne has led curriculum design and delivery across undergraduate and postgraduate pharmacy programmes, including Independent Prescribing and Clinical Pharmacy for Primary and Secondary Care. Suzanne is passionate about advancing patient-centred care and preparing future pharmacists for evolving roles in healthcare. She is also a registered pharmacist independent prescriber and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).

 

Research Overview
My research focuses on curriculum innovation in higher education to ensure that pharmacy students are fully prepared for their future roles as a prescribing pharmacist. I also have an intereste in research relating to pharmacy service provision and pharmacy workforce development.
