ABOUT
Personal Statement
I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Liverpool.
I obtained my Ph.D in Theoretical Computer Science in 2015 from The Institute of Mathematical Sciences, Chennai, where I was very fortunate to have Prof. Meena Mahajan as my advisor.
My previous stints:
- 2017 -- 2024: Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IITH), Hyderabad, India.
- 2015 -- 2017: Postdoc in the Computational Complexity group chaired by Prof. Dr. Markus Bläser at Max Planck Institute for Computer Science and Saarland University, Saarbrücken, Germany.
Research Overview
My interests lie broadly in the area of Theory of Computation, and in particular, Computational Complexity. My research involves studying models of computation to understand their computational power and, in turn, understand the role that different resources play in computation. The models that I study typically involve circuits.
