Personal Statement
Kee-Youn Kang joined the University of Liverpool Management School in 2024. Prior to joining the University of Liverpool, he held positions as assistant and associate professor at the Business School of Yonsei University, and as an economist at the Bank of Korea. He holds a B.A. in Business Administration and Economics from Yonsei University, and he earned his Ph.D. in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis.

 

Research Overview
Kee-Youn is a macroeconomist with research interests in monetary economics, finance, game theory, search theory, and blockchain economics. Kee-Youn’s research has been published in journals such as the Journal of Economic Theory, the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, the Journal of Money, Credit, and Banking, the Review of Economic Dynamics, and Theoretical Economics.
