Ayan Orujov is a Lecturer in Analytics at the University of Liverpool Management School. He completed his PhD at the University of Bristol in 2015, focusing on the "Value of Political Connections in the UK." He previously held a position of Lecturer in Finance at Bangor Business School.
His research interests include gambling behavior, gambling harm, gambling in finance, retail investments, corporate governance, and corporate activism. Ayan has published in highly rated journals like the Journal of Corporate Finance and Journal of Banking and Finance.
