ABOUT

Personal Statement
I am a Specialist Physician in Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics and hold an NIH Emerging Global Leader (K43) Award in Infection Pharmacology. My main academic interest is in infection and perinatal clinical pharmacology with a focus on optimising the dosing of antimicrobial agents, and addressing clinical pharmacology knowledge gaps, in complex subpopulations that carry a disproportionately high burden of disease and yet are often excluded from early dose-finding clinical pharmacology studies. These include pregnant women, mother-infant pairs, young children, and individuals with co-morbidities.

Research Overview
My research portfolio is focused on three themes:

1. Antimicrobial dose optimisation in complex subpopulations
2. Pandemic therapeutics and perinatal clinical pharmacology
3. Therapeutics of the intersection between communicable and non-communicable diseases
