Personal Statement
I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate working on the Sustainable Control of Parasites in Ewes (SCOPE) project.
I previously was a Postdoc in the Disease Modelling Unit at the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute, where my research focused on integrating population dynamics and population genetics models for mosquitoes. I did my PhD at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, working on developing and applying mathematical models to evaluate insecticide resistance management strategies.
My research focus is on developing and applying mathematical models to understand how interventions impacts both resistance and transmission. This work is at the intersection of ecology, evolution and epidemiology, especially with regards to parasitic and vector-borne diseases.
