Personal Statement
Zoë is a European Specialist and RCVS Recognised Specialist in Equine Internal Medicine, she is
currently working with us as a medicine clinician. She also works as a consultant in equine medicine
for Axiom Vet Labs. She particularly enjoys collaborating on medical cases with both the team in the
clinic and vets in practice. Zoë’s areas of special interest include the investigation of medical disease,
antimicrobial resistance and the effective management of bacterial infections.

Zoë graduated from the University of Liverpool with both a veterinary degree and a master’s degree
in veterinary parasitology. Following time in practice she undertook an internship in equine medicine
and surgery, followed by a residency in South Africa. In 2017 she returned home to the UK, working
in private practice as an internal medicine clinician, before joining the Axiom team and starting a
visiting case support and CPD business.
