Personal Statement
Antonios Cene is an aerospace engineer specializing in experimental aerodynamics, wind tunnel testing, and flow control techniques with applications in urban air mobility, wind energy, and aerospace technologies. In his current project, he investigates quadcopter wake dynamics in urban flow with a particular interest in wake turbulence, unsteady aerodynamics, and wind tunnel testing using Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV), Hot-Wire Anemometry (HWA), 14-hole pressure Probe Capture Anemometry (ProCap), load cells, and pressure transducers.

He holds a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from Swansea University, where he investigated innovative flow control methods for flatback airfoils, with a focus on improving aerodynamic performance through wind tunnel experiments and CFD. Antonios has presented his research at international conferences and contributed to studies on aerodynamic efficiency in wind energy applications.
