Personal Statement
I am a Doctoral Academic Teacher and PhD student in the Department of Psychology. My research interests mainly concern decision-making and judgements, with my PhD aiming to answer the question of how the knowledge of multiple experts, each possessing valuable partial information about decision-relevant quantities (but also subject to various biases), can be aggregated in a way that effectively leverages individual knowledge and counteracts potential biases. Alongside this research, I teach statistics to first and second year undergraduate students, whilst also providing pastoral and academic support through my role as an Academic Advisor to students in all stages of their degree.

I completed my BA in Psychology, Philosophy and Linguistics at the University of Oxford, where my thesis explored the role of the frontal aslant tract in people who stutter. My Master's thesis examined evidence thresholds in decision-making, investigating whether evidence thresholds are influenced by situational and individual differences, while also adding to existing research by offering an empirical solution towards defining the implicit cost functions associated with different scenarios.
